Guillaume Cyr
A manager trained in radio and television, Ian H. Gailer graduated with honors in administration from UQ, and is now involved with SMEs and numerous Canadian cultural organizations. As director of both the Festival de cinéma de la ville de Québec (FCVQ) and the REGARD festival, and as president of the Conseil des arts de Saguenay, he has fostered their exponential growth.
Recognized for his extensive network and the quality of the projects he leads, he was a member of the Conseil national du cinéma et de la télévision from 2015 to 2020. Ian H. Gailer also contributed to the revision of Quebec’s cultural policy and served on the Canadian advisory committee of TV5 Unis.
He currently sits on the boards of the Centre des congrès de Québec, Carnaval de Québec and TV5.
